Zombie Studies Central
Purpose
This site is an ongoing collaborative effort of the students in Dr. Craig Jacobsen's ENH277AH course, "Facing Fear: Horror Narrative," at Mesa Community College. Its purpose is to gather information about zombie narratives in all media, and to contextualize such narratives within the rich history of the genre as a scholarly exercise in narrative and cultural studies.
While only students in the course are able to write and edit wiki entries, anyone is welcome to become a registered user and offer useful commentary in the page-linked discussion threads or the general discussion forum.

In preparation for another course, I'm doing some major site revision. I've been deleting empty or near-empty pages, restructuring the wiki's organization, and otherwise revising to make it a more useful research resource. More revisions and clearer guidelines will follow.

No threads have been harmed in the reorganization of this discussion. I simply moved the discussion, stay with me here, to the Discussion Forum (check the left side for a link). I know, that's craziness, but I figured that we could have general discussion there, and leave the thread space attached to each page for discussion about, yep, that page. Madness, I realize, and reveals a rage for order, but my intent is to have this wiki grow with each time I teach this class. In order to keep some structure, I'll be imposing order with my mighty, mighty Creator powers. So feel free to post your thoughts about the Home page here. Otherwise, let's keep general discussion in the Discussion Forum.
